In keeping with the recommendations of the Medical Association, the following fee guidelines will be used by doctors working at this centre. Please note that each doctor reserves the right to charge a fee that is different than the recommended fees listed. Patients will be charged for individual medical and non-medical services not covered by the Ministry of Health.

*Your annual comprehensive medical exam includes:

• A thorough review of your personal and family medical history, including any genetic factors
• Hearing test
• Vision test assessing acuity, colour discrimination, and more
• Heart health check with an ECG (electrocardiogram)
• Pulmonary (lung) function tests and oxygen level measurement
• Screening for skin cancer through dermoscopy
• Assessment for peripheral vascular disease with the Ankle Brachial Index
• Abdominal and pelvic ultrasound assessment
• ECHO cardiac assessment
• Exercise Tolerance Test (if over age 40 or indicated)
• Full panel of laboratory tests including:
  • White cell count
  • Hemoglobin
  • Iron studies
  • Liver and renal (kidney) panel
  • Vitamin screen
  • Lipids (including other markers for coronary artery disease)
  • Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test
  • Hormone profile (including serum testosterone for men and ovarian hormones for women)

1. Case conference with the family doctor, the treating team, the individual of concern, the family and the team at RCM Health Consultancy.
2. Provided a medical research report outlining new advances in the treatment of the condition, a report outlining the leading authorities using new advances in treating the condition, and sessions with RCM Health’s team to explain the new advances and the benefits of those new advances.
3. RCM Health will direct the client and family to the centres of excellence providing these advanced treatments, submitting referrals and providing advocacy services to re-integrate the patient into a treating team in their home province if necessary.
